New York City - Sunset - Chinatown - East Broadway
when the sun
past the clouds
as light as
of the fuzzy
of a dream
just before eyelashes
open like a curtain
dawdling night sky.
In preparation for my upcoming trip to Paris this week, I am now in the possession of the Sony a7R with the Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* FE 24-70mm F4 lens (thank you Sony!) which I took out for a walk and promptly fell in love with all in the span of the first few shots I took with it.
I walked over the Manhattan Bridge and Brooklyn Bridge and it was a pleasure to capture the beautiful spring light that poured over East Broadway. It’s incredible how the sun’s light changes so drastically from season to season. Spring light is one of my favorites. After the brutal winter we had in New York City (I am in denial that it may snow again tomorrow), it was nice to bask in the spring glow.
